Some of you may know Gypsy (GypsyinAmber) of Caravan Scraps, If you do you will know what a wonderful caring lady she is! If you don't then let me take a moment to tell you why she is so special! In the short time I have known Gypsy I have seen her true heart and it is of solid gold! She is genourous, kind and giving. A lady who would give you the clothes off her back and leave herself to freeze without a second thought!
Gypsy is always smiling, despite the many curveballs life has thrown her way! You name it and this lady has probably been through it twice over and lived to tell the tale!!! In recent months things became real difficult for Gypsy. She underwent a kidney transplant and was back on her feet in the blink of an eye, however during her recovery she came down with H1N1 virus and was taken to the hospital, of course she smiled and said she was fine, but we soon found out she was realy knocked for six by the virus, especially as the medication related to her transplant ruled out her having anti viral drugs. However, once again she fought back and was back on her feet in no time. Then as if she hadn't been through enough, fate choose to test her once more! While she was at a routine doctors appointment her darling hubby suffered a massive heart attack and it was only the fact that they were at the doctors office that saved him. Thankfully he came through his bypass safely, but their health insurers have refused to cover his hospitalization costs and on top of her own huge medical bills that is ALOT!! I won't tell you the figure, but suffice to say whatever you are imagining won't even be close!
They are now desperately trying to sell thier beautiful home and surrounding property to pay these bills and still manage to survive. Gypsy would NEVER ask for help from anyone, so we are doing it for her! Several designers have come together to create a beautiful collaboration kit all proceeds to go to Gypsy.
